Tennessee GHSO Returns in 2009

The Tennessee Governor's Highway Safety Office will once again promote their Booze It & Lose It campaign in 2009, utilizing the 9 Minor League Baseball teams and 20 motorsports venues in the state. Since 2002, the Tennessee Governor's Highway Safety Office (GHSO) has utilized venue signage and promotional opportunities with the Minor League Baseball teams to promote it's "Booze It and Lose It" campaign. The sponsorship includes premium signage in each stadium, print advertisement in the team's souvenir program, radio commercials on team radio network, and public address, scoreboard, and video board announcements. In 2008, over 1.8 million fans attended a Minor League Baseball game in Tennessee. In 2006, The GHSO began working with motorsports venues in Tennessee, focusing on the "Buckle Up In Your Truck" message. The promotion includes signage and public address announcements during all events held in these venues, and reaches over 2.2 million fans annually. |
