Press release from the Minor League Baseball headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida announcing the season attendance of all affiliated baseball teams for 2009.  With a combined attendance from 176 teams, over 15 leagues, 41,644,518 fans attended a Minor League Baseball game this year. 

Despite the economic times, the league saw only a 2.9 percent drop in attendance, which equals approximately 119 fans per game.
