"Mickey," starring Harry Connick Jr., is an original screenplay written by best-selling author John Grisham, who played Little League Baseball in South Haven, Miss., in the 1960s.

In 2005, Anchor Bay Entertainment utilized Alliance Sport Marketing to promote the movie's DVD release through 12 baseball teams across the country.

Mickey DVD's, Posters, and memorabilia where distributed to fans as they entered the gates, and some ballparks featured a special showing of Mickey on the video scoreboard.

John Grisham made a special appearance in Nashville, speaking to a capacity crowd about the importance of reading.
