Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Since 2004, Alliance Sport Marketing has teamed with Pigeon Forge, promoting tourism to the town through minor league baseball teams.
In 2004, Alliance Sport Marketing worked with Pigeon Forge and 18 minor league baseball teams in 9 states to promote Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Over 1,000,000 impressions were made through in-stadium displays, website inclusion, radio, stadium public address announcements, and pocket schedule ads. Pigeon Forge collected name, address, phone, and e-mail addresses from baseball fans interested in receiving more information about Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
In 2005, the promotion expanded to 28 teams in 11 states. Kiosks featuring 35" televisions were set-up in each stadium, running a 30 minute cyclical promotional video on Pigeon Forge. The video included local attractions, such as Dollywood and breathtaking scenery. Pigeon Forge was included as a sponsor for on-field contests. Winners received a Pigeon Forge autographed baseball by the team and Pigeon Forge prize pack.
In Nashville, Pigeon Forge was included as a partner for Faith Nights. Faith Nights featured pre-game Christian concert from top national recording artists. The Pigeon Forge logo was displayed on all print materials for Faith Nights, including posters. These posters were sent to over 4,000 local churches in the Nashville market.
